Savannah is our newest addition to the team. She has been an avid ocean lover since childhood, and has always loved the water. This love has continued to this day, as she is currently finishing her PHD in marine biology. She is a qualified scuba diving- and surfing instructor as well as a lifeguard, showing her dedication to safety in the water. As an ex-member of team GB for swimming, it is needles to say that she has probably spent more hours in the pool than on land.
She finished her STA level 2 during her A levels, and taught swimming to kids of all ages and adults in better leisure centres. She has now returned to teaching and is excited to show you how to have fun as well as be safe while in the water.

Susie grew up in Cape Town and thanks to her mum Sunee's swim school, she had the privilege of an enclosed heated swimming pool in her garden. Swimming became her biggest joy and daily activity all year round. She joined a local swimming club at the age of 7 and represented her school at Western Province Galas.
Susie taught by her mum's side from the age of 14 and discovered that she loves teaching just as much as she loves water. Susie qualified as a STA teacher in February 2023 and at the age of 18, she now has 4 years of teaching experience and the qualification to match.
Susie believes that children should be taught to love and respect the water so that they can experience the joy that this sport has brought to her.
